The 45-year-old was promoted from assistant back in October following the sacking of Lee Sinnott, and he was entrusted with the position until the end of the current campaign with the aim of keeping the club in the Football League.[LNB]With Vale currently 19th in League Two and assured of avoiding relegation, Glover has achieved the target set.[LNB]But his seven months in charge have not been an easy ride, with several protests being staged in light of some poor performances and results.[LNB]Slow season-ticket sales for next season have also been linked to Glover's position at the helm, so the club's board opted to relieve him of his duties following the clash at Underhill[LNB]The former Vale defender is, however, not expected to part ways with the club entirely and has been offered a two-year deal with the youth team.[LNB][LNB]
