Elding would welcome Vale switch
Vale are one of a host of clubs currently linked with the 27-year-old after he was told last weekend that he is free to leave Gresty Road due to the number of strikers ahead of him in the pecking order.[LNB]And crossing the M6 into Burslem is not something that would concern Elding as he looks to get his career back on track.[LNB]"Port Vale have shown interest and they are a club I would think about joining if something was offered to me," he told The Sentinel.[LNB]"It is obviously a very nice thing to hear that so many clubs are chasing you, although the only firm contact I know Crewe have had is from Burton.[LNB]"It has been a torrid time for me at Crewe and I have reached the point in my career where I need to move on and to be playing regularly week in, week out."[LNB][LNB]
