Edwards pens first Vale pro deal
Adams has handed Edwards a 12-month deal - his first professional contract - and he is relishing the prospect of pushing for a first-team place.
Edwards said: "I am pleased to be making the step up from the youth team and I know I am going to have to work hard in pre-season to prove myself and to get into the first-team squad."
The versatile 18-year-old was involved in the first-team squad last season but has yet to make an appearance for the Valiants.
