Collins back for Vale

Port Vale will have Lee Collins back in contention for the trip to Morecambe. The defender has not played since the initial 1-1 FA Cup first-round draw with Dartford at the start of November due to shin splints. But, having resumed training last Thursday before getting a 90-minute practice match under his belt, Collins is likely be included in Micky Adams` squad at the Globe Arena. He is unlikely to start, however, due to his lack of match fitness and the current hard nature of training and playing surfaces, which makes his recovery from shin problems a steady one. Otherwise, Adams has no injury or suspension concerns with Vale not having played since their FA Cup second-round triumph over Accrington on November 26.
