The 64-year-old, who on Thursday collected an MBE from the Queen, hopes to hand over the duel role of chairman and chief executive a year after Harlequin Property officially become the club's majority stakeholder - an investment deal which is due for completion soon.[LNB]Bratt plans to stay on for a year to ensure a smooth crossover and, should everything go accordingly, he feels the time would be right to pass on the responsibility to someone new.[LNB]"As long as the club are on a safe financial footing, it would be nice to let somebody else do the job," he told The Sentinel. "I want to give it up in the foreseeable future.[LNB]"I'm considering stepping down in the next 12 months or so, because of issues to do with quality of life, the pressure of the job and for health and family reasons.[LNB]"But I will only do so if the club is in good hands, if it is on a stable financial footing and if the right ethics are in place which are required to keep it safe in the future."[LNB][LNB]
