Bratt cools Adams exit worries

Adams was appointed Vale boss at the end of May but, despite starting work at the beginning of July, he is still yet to put pen to paper on a contract. The 47-year-old was linked with the managerial vacancy at Southampton on Monday, but Bratt expects him to keep to his word and commit to Vale. "There's no dispute at all. We are just waiting for Micky's solicitors to verify things." Bratt told the Sentinel. "Everything has been agreed. I believe Micky is a man of his word and he will sign. "People will always be interested in a manager of his calibre. Hopefully we can get the contract sorted for this weekend."
