Brammer heading for Vale exit
Vale are expected to release their retained list on Thursday having informed the final out-of-contract players of their intentions on Wednesday, but Brammer has already confirmed he will not be staying at Vale Park.
The 34-year-old arrived on loan from Millwall back in October before later completing a permanent deal until the end of the season, yet he struggled to overcome knee injuries and was restricted to just 14 appearances in total.
"I'm speaking to a few people about future opportunities," he told the Sentinel.
"When you don't get a full season behind you because of injuries it can be difficult. But I've spoken to surgeons and physicians and they've said I've just had an unlucky season in which I never got fully fit.
"I'm now going to enjoy a break, go on holiday and then get back to work when I come back."
