Boss happy with defensive efforts

Many supporters made their way home well before the final whistle after a largely dull encounter but Glover was pleased with his side's efforts. "The most positive aspect of the performance is another clean sheet," he said. "We are working hard on the defensive side as a group and that is showing out on the pitch. "Rotherham would be going for promotion if they hadn't had points deducted, so it was a good result. "We competed well in the first half when we gave a good account of ourselves, but we let ourselves down in the second half. "We kept giving the ball away too cheaply and that invited trouble and meant it was very difficult to exert any pressure on Rotherham."
