Albion chief hails Adams return

Adams ended his second spell as Brighton manager by mutual consent in February after failing to repeat the success of his first stint with the Seagulls when he led them to the old Third Division title in 2001/02. However, Broom has moved to congratulate Adams on his return to the game. He told Brighton's official website: "I would like to congratulate Micky on landing the Port Vale job and wish him well in the new post. "His second spell with Albion may not have worked out as we all had hoped it would but his successes during his first spell mean he will always be regarded in high esteem by the club. "He kicked off one of our most memorable eras of all time and his contribution should never be forgotten. He is an Albion legend and will always be afforded a warm welcome at this club."
