Adams: We switched off at set-pieces
Adams watched on as his side were eventually undone 5-4 on penalties, but it was the way they conceded during the 2-2 draw over 90 minutes that angered him most.[LNB]Michael Flynn headed the Bantams level from a corner after John McCombe had handed Vale a half-time lead. James Hanson then put the hosts in front with another header from a free-kick, only for Robert Taylor to level matters and send the tie to penalties.[LNB]Adams said: "Obviously we were disappointed to lose on penalties but a couple of our players switched off at set-pieces.[LNB]"Bradford are a big side, a big powerful unit attacking the ball in our box. We were mindful of the fact not to give away silly free-kicks and corners and what did we do - we gave away free-kicks and corners and were punished for it.[LNB]"At this level, corners and free-kicks are very important. I believe you have to have a minimum of five six-footers in the team, and when we lost Gareth Owen through injury in the first half we didn't have enough to combat Bradford's aerial strength."[LNB][LNB]
