Adams praises Vale commitment

Dale looked like securing their first win at Vale Park after Joe Thompson had given them the lead, until a penalty from Marc Richards handed Vale a point.[LNB]"A lot of our supporters have talked about the commitment of the players and that is one of the things we can get right straight away," said Adams. "I don't think anyone could question the attitude of any of the lads out there. I thought it was spot on.[LNB]"I think there was a gulf between the sides, but (Rochdale manager) Keith (Hill) has formulated a good team who were in the play-offs the last two years.[LNB]"They were eye-catching and attractive, but I was more concerned with the defensive side of our game and I was quite happy with that.[LNB]"I was disappointed with the way we conceded the goal, but apart from that we stayed well organised and restricted them to very few chances."[LNB][LNB]
