The 25-year-old is currently only contracted with the Valiants for three months with that deal expiring on November 7.
But after the defender's performance against Darlington on Saturday, Adams admits he would like to keep him at the club on a permanent deal.
Adams told the Sentinel: "Kris is a player we would like to keep, but we don't have to make a decision yet.
"His performance on Saturday was excellent. Defensively he was sound and when he got the ball his distribution was great."
