Adams keen to add requirements

Vale suffered a disappointing campaign in last season, finishing 18th and losing 11 of their 23 fixtures at Vale Park. And Adams also feels the 16-man squad he inherited when he replaced Dean Glover earlier this month lacks experience, with an average age of under 22. He told The Sentinel: "The squad needs strengthening in all areas - that's the key for me. "There are a lot of inexperienced players here, so it will be vital to bring experience into the squad and see where we go from there. People have said it is a young squad - and it is. "Perhaps that's why the home form last season wasn't good because kids need nurturing and love from everybody."
