Adams is the right choice - Bratt
Adams was unveiled as Dean Glover's replacement at Vale Park on Friday.
The Valiants endured a disappointing League Two campaign last season, finishing 18th.
Bratt told BBC Radio Stoke: "It could be the most important decision we've ever made.
"Micky is a motivator, a disciplinarian and he wants to prove he can manage at the top level. I hope he's the man that can take us up there.
"It's a marriage made in heaven. We both want the same thing. We know finances are tight but we will back Micky as much as we can."
