Adams' side took a first-half lead through Robert Taylor after Kirk Hudson had been dispossessed. Hudson then atoned for his error, slipping the ball through for Louis Soares to equalise for the Shots. "I think on this occasion we've got to be delighted. At times we played some good football, at times we looked average. "But we've ground out a point against a good team, so we'll take it." Adams added: "We were very resilient and for 35 minutes in the first half we dominated the play. When we took the lead we looked as if we would kick on. "That's when you've got to take the chances that present themselves, but we didn't. They changed things up and it caused us problems. In the second half we were under a lot of pressure, but we ground it out."
