Adams considers changes

Micky Adams will again be wondering whether to tweak his line-up as Port Vale play host to Lincoln on Boxing Day. Ahead of last weekend`s postponed meeting with Barnet, the Vale boss admitted the previous 1-0 defeat to Morecambe may have opened the door for some of those chomping at the bit for involvement. And that could well still be the case this time around as Vale again look to put that disappointing loss at the Globe Arena behind them. Gareth Owen has recovered from a back complaint and is likely to line up alongside John McCombe at the heart of defence, leaving Kris Taylor and fit-again Lee Collins to fight it out for the left-back slot. Bradford loanee Jake Speight will be hoping the game beats the big freeze with his stay at Vale Park currently set to expire after the New Year's Day trip to Rotherham.
