Adams aiming to lift Vale spirits
Vale had a disappointing campaign last season but the new boss believes he can put smiles back on supporters' faces.
"When you analyse the clubs in the league, you do look at the level of support they can attract," he told The Sentinel.
"I felt Port Vale was a club, which if we could get going in the right direction, would have the support.
"They want their players to show pride and passion when they cross that white line in a Vale shirt - it is my task to make that happen."
