Best yet to come, Poland coach Smuda says

After keeping their Euro 2012 quarter-final dreams alive with a hard-fought 1-1 draw with Group A leaders Russia, tournament co-host Poland could just keep getting better, coach Franciszek Smuda says.

"I'd like for the best to be yet to come, and I'd have nothing against it being in the match with the Czech Republic," Smuda said after a public training session attended by some 4,000 fans at his squad's Warsaw base-camp.

After having also drawn 1-1 with Greece in last Friday's Euro 2012 opener in Warsaw and then having faced Russia in the capital on Tuesday, Poland travel to the southwestern city of Wroclaw on Saturday for their match against the Czechs.

The fixture is a must-win for Poland if they want to achieve their goal of at least earning a quarter-final slot.
