Town upset Holloway
26 Jul 2007 - 10:32:53
Plymouth Argyle boss Ian Holloway is baffled by reports linking David Norris with a move to Ipswich Town.
Ipswich manager Jim Magilton was quoted earlier in the week as suggesting he had been rebuffed in his efforts to sign the 26-year-old.
But Holloway told the Pilgrims' official website: "I don't know where the press in Ipswich get their information from.
"Until an offer has been made and accepted and a medical has been done, you should not talk about other people's players.
"If the Ipswich press keep doing that, then I will have to ring (Ipswich chairman) Mr Sheepshanks or Jim Magilton to tell them I am not happy about it. They are out of order to talk about it.
"David Norris signed a new contract last year and he was very happy with it.
"With the greatest respect to Ipswich, I'm sure there are a lot more people interested in David, who are better placed than them."
