Plymouth Argyle defender Marcel Seip has been put on the Home Park transfer list and fined two weeks' wages after refusing to be a substitute for Saturday's Championship clash with Charlton Athletic.
Pilgrims boss Paul Sturrock had named the Dutchman as one of his five substitutes for the game but the defender decided not to take his place on the bench on what was his 26th birthday.
Sturrock told the club's official website: "I'm fining Marcel two weeks' wages because of his actions.
"It's appropriate to put him on the transfer list as well. I also feel that now is the right time for Marcel to get his hernia problem fixed."
