Reid wants more

Plymouth Argyle manager Peter Reid wants his players to toughen up after seeing them secure a 1-1 draw at Colchester.Andy Bond headed in his fourth goal in six league games from Anthony Wordsworth's corner in the 22nd minute, but Argyle skipper Reda Johnson swept home from close range after the U's had failed to deal properly with Kari Arnason's long throw three minutes after half-time.Reid said: "Sometimes you have to earn the right to play football and in the first half, we didn't. In the second half we did that and it was a lot better."Players know the game plan, but when you're getting shrugged off the ball and not winning those second balls that's what happens."I was disappointed with the first half, but it was better in the second half. We looked dangerous in the second half, especially on the break."We conceded off a corner; they all have their markers but one of them hasn't gone with his runner. We showed plenty of character after that, which is a good thing. But you have to try and keep it."
