Plymouth allow youngsters to shine
Plymouth's youth development officer John James is confident there will be more youngsters breaking into the club's first team this season.Curtis Nelson and Jack Stephens have already emerged at the start of this campaign, while last year Joe Mason and Ryan Leonard made the breakthrough.Stephens, 16, made his debut as a late substitute during the 3-2 win against Sheffield Wednesday last Saturday and James believes he will inspire the other crop of young players."There are a couple more lads coming through who I think will make it, but I'm not going to name names," he told the Herald."We are trying to do everything we can to recruit young local boys and give them a realistic chance of making it."That's why we are always out there, looking at players. We are very pleased with the way things are going at the moment."
