Pilgrims welcome Bolasie back

Plymouth Argyle manager Paul Sturrock has welcomed Yannick Bolasie back to the club after the teenager decided not to join Dagenham and Redbridge on loan.

The winger had been training with the Daggers with a view to a loan switch but has opted to return to Home Park, to Sturrock's delight.

"Bolasie is back," said the Pilgrims boss. "He was really positive in his approach in training and I'm really pleased with him.

"He's taken on board my criticism and he did it in training to the letter of the law.

"Players do need to go out on loan for financial reasons though and there are some players who need to go out to put their faces in the window.

"If you aren't playing in the first team here, you need to be seen for two reasons - to get games to get back in the squad here or for people to see you to enable you to move on."
