Plymouth Argyle have plugged the gap left by the departure of veteran striker Barry Hayles by signing teenager Lukas Jutkiewicz on loan from
Everton.
The 18-year-old former Swindon Town forward will remain with the Pilgrims until the end of the season, helping fill the void left by Hayles' exit for Leicester City.
Argyle boss Paul Sturrock told the club's official website: "He is a fantastic prospect and I am delighted he is joining us.
"I know him from my time at Swindon and I know what he is all about.
"He is a different type of striker than we have at the club at the moment and I believe he will fit quickly into what we are doing down here."
Jutkiewicz played under Sturrock at Swindon, before heading to Goodison Park last summer.
