Pilgrims agree Gray arrival
01 Jan 2009 - 11:34:20
Plymouth Argyle have agreed a deal to sign Manchester United youngster David Gray on loan until the end of the season.
The 20-year-old, who can play in defence or midfield, has made just one senior appearance for the Red Devils, in a Carling Cup tie against Crewe Alexandra in October 2006.
Meanwhile, Pilgrims boss Paul Sturrock hopes to make further moves into the transfer market this month.
He told the club's official website: "I am not finished in the transfer window and scoring goals will be an area I am trying to do something about.
"We will attempt to strengthen that area of the team, because, if you look at the stats and figures, we haven't scored enough goals.
"January will be very busy for me because I am going to travel the length and breadth to see reserve games and see our targets play."
