Olly denies Buzsaky claims
29 Nov 2006 - 09:33:09
Plymouth Argyle boss Ian Holloway has rubbished reports claiming Bolton Wanderers could be set to make a £1.25million bid for Hungarian midfielder Akos Buzsaky.
The 24-year-old has been in impressive form for the Pilgrims this season and reports in his homeland claimed Bolton boss Sam Allardyce was looking to take him to the Reebok Stadium in the January transfer window.
However, Holloway says that he has not had any approaches from the Trotters for the former FC Porto man and he would not welcome any.
He said: "We haven't had one call about Akos.
"I spoke to my chief executive (Michael Dunford) and my chairman (Paul Stapleton) and we haven't had any calls about his availability.
"I don't know where that's coming from."
