Mariner raves over Mason talents
The 18-year-old was introduced from the substitutes' bench to replace goalscorer Bradley Wright-Phillips at Ipswich and promptly scored Argyle's second goal in the 2-0 win. Mariner said: "Joe's probably the best finisher in the club. When he gets in, he rarely misses. "He's still young and has got a lot to learn but it's great to have someone like him on the bench when you have got Jamie Mackie and Bradley working their socks off for the team up front." Wright-Phillips has started the last four games for the Greens, scoring twice, since recovering from a knee injury.
