Plymouth Argyle boss Paul Sturrock has admitted that recent signing Rudolphe Douala has been unfortunate during his short stay at Home Park.

The versatile 30-year-old Cameroon forward has featured just once as a substitute for the Pilgrims, having arrived at the club just as Strurrock's side found some form.

"It has been difficult for Rudi," Sturrock told the club's official website. "It is the same scenario as when Emile Mpenza turned up.

"The team is winning and he is very new to what we are looking to do in the games.

"The games have been very tight to all of a sudden get him on the pitch, so it has been very difficult for him."
