Gow released by Plymouth Argyle

Plymouth Argyle have released Scottish striker Alan Gow from his contract at Home Park.The 27-year-old signed a two-year deal with the Pilgrims last summer that was due to expire in July 2011. Gow made 14 appearances for Plymouth last term, scoring two goals, before being sent out on loan to Scottish Premier League side Hibernian.
