    Gow key to success

    13 Nov 2009 - 13:56:02

Plymouth Argyle boss Paul Sturrock believes attacking midfielder Alan Gow is gradually finding his feet at the Home Park club.

He was instrumental in the side's 1-0 win at Middlesbrough at the end of October playing as a supporting striker and linked well with match-winner Jamie Mackie.

Sturrock believes if the team are to be successful this term, his players need to feed Gow at every opportunity.

Speaking to the club's official website, he said: "He's finding his feet with the rest of the players because the only way Alan Gow is going to be a top player for us is if we get him the ball.

"His benefit is when he has the football. He's a confident lad and I think he will be a great benefit to this football club."
