Fallon close to Argyle deal

Plymouth Argyle expect Rory Fallon to agree terms on a new contract by the middle of next week.

Fallon, 26, is out of contract at the end of the current season, but manager Paul Sturrock is confident of reaching agreement with the New Zealand-born striker.

He told the club's official website: "We're very confident that we might sort things out - hopefully by the middle of next week.

"Rory's benefited from the bits of pieces we've added to him and he's become a more rounded player now."

Fallon has netted four goals in 26 appearances for the Pilgrims this season.
