Carver remains with Argyle

Plymouth Argyle assistant manager John Carver has decided against a move to Burnley to remain at Home Park.
Carver had been lined up for a position among the backroom staff of new Clarets boss Brian Laws, but has decided to remain put with the Pilgrims as Paul Mariner's number two.
He told Radio 5 Live: "The club's board has a five-year plan and I want to be part of that.
"I felt I had to be loyal to Paul for giving me this opportunity. In the short-term we have a lot of hard work to keep Plymouth in the Championship."
