Bradley in line to make home debut

Published: 15 Mar 2010 - 15:07:44

Wright-Phillips made his full debut in Saturday's 1-1 draw at Coventry following a knee injury that had previously limited him to just four substitute appearances. Mariner said: "I thought Bradley did very well considering he has been out for so long. I also thought 70 minutes was probably his limit and when he came off I told him to get ready for Tuesday." Mariner also handed Yannick Bolasie his first start and was rewarded with a man-of-the-match performance from the livewire 20-year-old Congolese forward. "I thought he was sparkling. I thought it was the right time to give that young man his debut and he was absolutely fantastic," he added.
