Argyle snap up Iceland midfielder

Plymouth have signed Iceland midfielder Kari Arnason on a one-year deal after he impressed them during a trial spell. The 26-year-old international, who has played in his homeland, Sweden and the United States, was released by Danes AGF Aarhus at the end of the season. He told the Argyle website: "To get to England has always been my goal. "In Sweden I was more box-to-box, then in Denmark I was a sitting midfielder.
