Wright-Phillips boost for Pilgrims

Wright-Phillips, who played a late role in Argyle's 1-0 home defeat by Watford two weeks ago, played throughout the reserves 9-1 win at Bournemouth on Tuesday, scoring twice.

On-loan right back Darcy Blake, from Cardiff, could also come back into contention although Argyle boss Paul Sturrock is boosted by the arrival of Manchester United full back David Gray on loan.

Gray started last week's 3-1 defeat at Newcastle United at right back.

Argyle - who have lost their last six league matches - face a wait to see if new on-loan Aston Villa central defender Shane Lowry passes a fitness test.

Lowry suffered an ankle injury during his Argyle bow at Newcastle.
