Sturrock wants more fight and bite

The Pilgrims visit basement side Charlton on Saturday aiming to bounce back from a 3-0 home defeat by Derby, which pushed the Pilgrims down to 17th in the table.

Sturrock conceded: "We have got a tussle now. We have put ourselves in a position where we have got to bite and scratch for every point.

"We have got to go away and get something at Charlton and then we have got to come home and really be up for the two games after that.

"The essence of life for us is to put a win on the board at home. After next Saturday we have got two home games - and these next three games are key."

Argyle host Crystal Palace in a rescheduled league match on Tuesday February 17 and then Sheffield United the following Saturday.
