Sturrock wants Argyle to push on

Argyle host Coventry on Saturday and with five matches remaining, Sturrock is looking for another win to assure another season in England's second tier.

"It's important we build on what we have achieved, with the result at Blackpool," said the manager. "We're going to be very positive and work very hard again this week and I am going to stick very close to this team, if at all possible."

Meanwhile Gary Sawyer, who scored the winner at Blackpool, feels survival is now in the Pilgrims' hands.

"The win was massive for us and I was just delighted to get the goal," he said. "It gives us a great chance. It's in our hands. If we win our games we stay up, it's as simple as that. We just need to keep working hard and take it one game at a time."

On-loan central defender Craig Cathcart was replaced by Chris Barker at Blackpool after 56 minutes after suffering a knee injury.
