Sturrock dreams of World Cup chance

The Pilgrims have announced they are to apply to be a host city for the competition. The club are set to submit a formal application to the FA, which will include proposals for a new 40,000-plus all-seater stadium and new training facilities.[LNB]Plymouth boss Sturrock, who represented Scotland in the 1982 and 1986 World Cups, told the club's official website: "The emphasis must be that this is the biggest sporting event in the world.[LNB]"To be able to bring the quality of player to this area would be unbelievable for the youth of this area.[LNB]"Let's say Brazil were picked (to come to Home Park). It would be an incredible thing to watch the skills of these players, and a huge benefit to Plymouth Argyle.[LNB]"We have talked about the stadium and the five-year plan, which I am totally behind.
