Sousa finds negative in victory

A goal from loan signing Lee Trundle in the second half handed the Swans victory over their lowly visitors.[LNB]Kept on the bench despite netting a brace in the 2-2 draw at Peterborough, the striker was introduced at the start of the second half and scored the only goal six minutes later, but that was one of very few high points for the hosts, according to the Swans boss.[LNB]"It is a good result for us but it was one of our worst displays of the season," said Sousa.[LNB]"Winning when not playing well will make us a strong team but today we missed a lot of our passes.[LNB]"Converting chances makes life easier for us and we didn't do that today but we are now looking forward to our next game.[LNB]"Winning helps you to recover quickly both physically and mentally."[LNB]Of the decision to leave Trundle on the bench, he added: "Besian Idrizaj has been working well in training and I thought it was the right move to start the game with him, but it needed changing at half time.[LNB]"We switched to 4-4-2 and it gave us more presence in the box. We need to score goals and Lee Trundle gives us something at front."[LNB]Swansea could have opened the scoring within the first minute when Nathan Dyer raced through to fire on goal, and when the ball rebounded to Joe Allen his goalbound shot was headed clear.[LNB]The policy of playing with the one striker up front was obviously not working during a one-sided opening period as Swansea had all the play but could not convert any of their opportunities.[LNB]Trundle and strike partner Gorka Pintado both joined the fray at the start of the second half and it was Pintado who crossed for Trundle to glance home at the near post.[LNB]In the final minutes of the game Plymouth were reduced to 10 men when Shane Lowry received a second yellow card, but the 10 men kept the Swans at bay.[LNB]"This is a difficult place to come as Swansea have very good players who can pass the ball and we could have been behind in the first minute," said Plymouth boss Paul Sturrock.[LNB]"But we had two great chances for Rory Fallon and we should have scored from at least one of them.[LNB]"On goal attempts we were probably on a par with Swansea but that is now three single-goal defeats in a row for us.[LNB]"I seem to say the same things after every game but we are having a club meeting on Thursday and hopefully we can go forward from there."[LNB][LNB][LNB]
