Robins agree fee for Pilgrims pair

The Robins have avoided a tribunal after paying Plymouth a five-figure sum for the pair last week. Defender Evans and striker Broomfield moved from Devon to Wiltshire in June but have not featured for Danny Wilson's side, as Swindon and Plymouth failed to agree a settlement figure over the summer. "We finally settled it and they were registered to play on Friday," he told the Swindon Advertiser. "I was confident that it would never have gone to a tribunal because it was always going to get sorted out. "It took a bit of time because of some changes in personnel at Plymouth, but we're just happy it's done now."
