Reid: We deserved it

Plymouth manager Peter Reid felt his side`s thumping 4-2 win at Sheffield Wednesday was no more than they deserved at the end of a traumatic week. Joe Mason scored twice for the Pilgrims, who remain bottom after the 10-point penalty imposed for going into administration, but Reid believes his men have given themselves a "fighting chance" of avoiding relegation. Bondz N'Gala and Yannick Bolasie were also on target for Plymouth and Reid said: "I think the victory was well deserved. "I thought we always looked dangerous on the break and we scored some good goals. Wednesday, to their credit, kept coming at us and I thought we mainly dealt with that. "There was some energy about the players in training and they brought that into the game. All in all it was a good day for us."
