Reid over moon with Button

Plymouth manager Peter Reid heaped praise on goalkeeper David Button following the 1-0 win over Dagenham. The 22-year-old produced a string of fine saves to keep the Daggers at bay before Rory Patterson netted the only goal of the game three minutes after half-time. Patterson was then sent off in injury time after collecting his second booking of the game but the dismissal did not take away from a valuable three points in the Pilgrims' relegation fight. Reid claimed Button was "magnificent", and added: "He made two crucial saves in the second half. It was a real good performance from the kid. He's a good goalkeeper, people forget he's inexperienced and learning the trade, but he was terrific."
