Plymouth manager Peter Reid is hopeful captain Carl Fletcher will be fit for the crunch clash with Dagenham on Friday.
The 31-year-old midfielder picked up an ankle injury in the second half of the 2-1 defeat to Peterborough on Saturday and it was feared he could have suffered ligament damage.
However, after undergoing treatment the injury does not look as bad as first feared
Reid told thisisdevon.co.uk: "His ankle is still a bit swollen but he says it's feeling easier, which is good news.
"I think he has got a chance of playing and he's confident about it as well."
