Reid has plenty to ponder

Plymouth boss Peter Reid had mixed emotions after his side`s 1-1 draw at home to Notts County. Defender Stephane Zubar headed the Pilgrims ahead in the fourth minute, but the Magpies wasted little time fashioning a reply as Lee Hughes converted an equaliser after Alan Judge's drive had rebounded off a post. Both County goalkeeper Robert Burch and opposite number David Button then proved their worth to ensure the sides came away with a share of the spoils. Reid said: "I thought we played some good football at times but on the counter-attack we were anxious. I know they want to do well but I thought we were just trying too hard at times and that could be because we are a bit rusty having not played for a while. "We tried to hit the killer ball too early and sometimes you have just got to work people and bide your time. I just thought there was that little lack of patience and we gave it away in comfortable possession but the spirit of the players was just fantastic." He added: "(Onismor) Bhasera and (Kari) Arnason have been struggling with flu-type symptoms and so they have done a good shift all things considered. And there's a few other lads that are a bit low because it's going around the place. The lads have done well to get something from the game. There were some good performances out there."
