Reid hails "incredible" Pilgrims

Plymouth boss Peter Reid praised the "incredible spirit" of his players after they recovered from two goals down to win 3-2 at Bristol Rovers. Two Will Hoskins strikes inside 10 minutes put Rovers in command, but Bradley Wright-Phillips pulled a goal back for Argyle after 58 minutes and Joe Mason equalised nine minutes later before Stephane Zubar headed an 80th-minute winner. A delighted Reid said: "We are being forced to sell players to meet our debts, which is never an easy situation, so I'm particularly proud of the lads. "I've already lost a couple of good players and we are still facing an embargo as far as signings are concerned, which I hope will be lifted in the next week or so. "I don't want to harp on about our situation but it is tough for all concerned and all credit to the team for battling through. "Rovers started well and deserved their two-goal lead. But I sensed towards the end of the first half that if we got a goal back we would be in with a chance. I changed things around a bit in the second half and we played some really good football so I couldn't be more delighted."
