Parsons set for Argyle bow
Plymouth defender Matt Parsons is available to make his delayed debut when they host York.
The 22-year-old arrived from Crystal Palace four weeks ago but picked up a thigh injury in a friendly just days after signing for the Pilgrims. Having returned to full training he could make his Argyle bow against the Minstermen.
Argentine midfielder Andres Gurrieri is also available having served a three-match ban for a red card in the 3-0 loss at Rochdale while Durrell Berry could return having been sidelined with a groin injury.
In Luke McCormick's absence former Barnet shotstopper Jake Cole is set to start in goal once more despite the arrival of Sheffield Wednesday loanee Cameron Dawson. The England Under-19 international has joined until the rest of the season but looks set to begin life at Home Park on the bench as Cole's understudy.
York pair Ryan Jarvis and David McGurk hope to return to contention.
Striker Jarvis has missed the last three games due to an ankle injury, while defender McGurk has been struggling with a back problem, which has kept him out of the last two matches.
Boss Nigel Worthington has no new injury or suspension problems, but could be tempted to make one or two changes with midfielder Lewis Montrose, striker Will Hayhurst and winger Sander Puri among those pushing for recalls.
The Minstermen, seven points clear of the relegation zone, are chasing back-to-back league wins on the road.
