Duo out for Argyle

Plymouth will be without attackers Tope Obedayi and Caolan Lavery for the visit of Welling to Home Park.

Sheffield Wednesday do not want the Northern Ireland Under-21 international Lavery to play for the Pilgrims in the FA Cup while Obedayi limped out of Argyle's 1-0 home defeat to Burton on Saturday with a hamstring problem and the club's medical staff are waiting for the injury to settle down.

Young striker Matt Lecointe is also on the road to recovery and will be back running in the coming days after injuring his cruciate knee ligament in pre-season.

Argyle's loss to the Brewers last weekend ended an unbeaten run of eight games which included their first-round victory over Lincoln.

Welling manager Jamie Day will have to dig deep into his resources.

Lee Butcher, Loui Fazakerley, Jack Obersteller, Doug Bergqvist, Fraser Franks, Loick Pires and Harry Beautyman all missed the FA Trophy defeat to Braintree, while Luis Cumbers and Connor McLaren are nursing long-term injuries.

Callum Webb, Sam Corne, Josh Ekim and Artisde Bassele were handed debuts last weekend and will feature once more.

Fraser Franks will return from a one-match ban as Welling aim to cause a shock.
