Plymouth have no fresh injury worries as they bid to halt an alarming slump when Newport come to Home Park.

The Pilgrims have picked up just two points out of a possible 18 since a 1-0 win over Bristol Rovers on September 7 and they have managed just three goals in those seven games.

Marvin Morgan is sidelined until 2014 with a shoulder problem while Nick Chadwick has signed for Tamworth on loan but fellow forwards Tyler Harvey and Lewis Alessandra will hope to get the nod if under pressure manager John Sheridan decides to freshen up his forward line.

Andres Gurrieri and Paul Wotton are other options for the former Chesterfield boss.

Newport will be without striker Aaron O'Connor after a set back in his comeback from a groin injury.

The 30-year-old rattled in 20 goals last season but is yet to feature in 2013-14 and he will be sidelined for at least another two months after undergoing minor surgery on Monday.

Manager Justin Edinburgh made four changes and switched formation to 5-3-2 for the 3-0 win over York and he is unlikely to make too many changes.

Ryan Burge could be ready to feature in his first match of the season after a muscle injury while Christian Jolley is closing in on a comeback but the Home Park trip may come too soon for the striker.
