Reid set for Plymouth inclusion

Plymouth look set to include Reuben Reid in their starting line-up to face Carlisle.

The striker had been taking painkillers for a hip problem but came through 86 minutes of their 1-0 win at Tranmere last weekend having netted the game's only goal and looks likely to keep his place.

Nathan Thomas could come into contention having returned to training this week. The winger suffered an asthma attack during their 3-2 loss to Swindon last week but has seen a specialist having spent a night in hospital.

The Pilgrims have won three of their last four games to climb up the League Two table.

Carlisle will be without suspended defender Danny Grainger as they chase a fourth straight league win.

Left-back Grainger received his fifth booking of the season in last week's home victory against Stevenage and sits out a one-game ban, so fit-again Matty Robson and Patrick Brough could come into contention.

Robson (knee) made his first appearance since mid-August as a second-half substitute last week and may start, but boss Keith Curle has hinted he has other options.

Midfielder Antony Sweeney returned to the bench last week following a shoulder injury and is hoping to feature, while defender Sean O'Hanlon and striker Stephen Elliott are among those pushing for recalls.
