Coonor Smith back in Plymouth squad

Plymouth should welcome back Connor Smith for their Sky Bet League Two clash against Accrington.

Smith has been sidelined with an ankle injury but travelled with the squad for their 1-0 victory over Doncaster last time out. He did not make the bench but should be in contention once again.

Nauris Bulvitis, Paul-Arnold Garita and Craig Tanner are also pushing for starts after the trio returned from injuries to feature in the Pilgrims' South West Peninsula League side last weekend.

Ryan Brunt and David Ijaha remain long-term absentees.

Accrington have Marek Rodak available for selection again after the goalkeeper missed their last two games.

It had been expected Rodak would be back from international duty with Slovakia Under-21s in time for Tuesday's 2-0 win over Cambridge but he ended up not returning until after the contest, in which Stanley extended their unbeaten run to 11 matches.

Seamus Conneely has also sat out the last two, due to an ankle injury, and will be assessed ahead of the trip to Home Park.

Arron Davies and Sean Clare (both foot) remain sidelined and Scott Brown is still suspended, with this fixture and one more game - next Saturday's home clash with Crewe - to go before he has completed his five-match ban.
